HydraDNS > Domain name > Delete a domain name

Domain names have 0-7 days of Money Back Grace Period after registration. Money Back Grace Period refers to a period that the paid amount can be refunded when you delete the domain name after the registration, and Money Back Grace Period is varied by TLD.

If you delete a domain name after the Money Back Grace Period or you delete the domain name that has no Money Back Grace Period, the registrant must pay for the deletion fee.

Delete a Domain Name

1)Sign in to HydraDNS account.

2)Click [Dashboard] > [My Service].

3)Click the trash can icon next to [Registration] for the domain name you want to delete.
※ Or click [Delete] button for the domain name you want to delete in [Dashboard > Manage Service > Delete tap]. You need to delete domain names one by one because domain names cannot be deleted in bulk unlike DNS services.

4)Verify your email address by clicking [Send Verification Code] button on Delete Domain Name page.

5)Select your delete reason, and click [Delete] button.

6)Pay for the deletion fee on Shopping Cart page to complete the deletion.

NOTE!

•If you delete a domain name in Money Back Grace Period, all the services associated with the domain name will be stopped operating, and the domain name will be available for fresh registration. Anyone can register the domain name.

•If you’re required to verify the domain owner after domain deletion requested, additional documents can be requested to submit.

•If the domain name meets any reason of “delete domain name” in accordance with the Article 16 Deletion of Registration, the Domain Name Service Terms and Conditions, the domain name can be deleted by HydraDNS.
