Once a domain name is registered, the ownership of the domain name belongs to the registrant until the expiry date. If you want to continue to use the domain name, you must renew it before the expiry date or within the Renewal Grace Period.
 

If the domain name is not renewed until the expiry date, the domain name’s status will be slip into [Renewal Grace Period] and all the service associated with the domain name will be stopped operating.
 

 

Renew a Domain Name
 

1)Sign in to HydraDNS account.
 

2)Click [Dashboard] > [My Service].
 

3)Click [Settings>Renew] button in My Service page or make an order for Renewal in [Dashboard>Manage Service] page.
※ On [Renewal] tap of Manage Service page, domain names are listed in an order based on the number of “Expiring in” for the domain names. You can renew the domain names you selected at once in [Renew for] field.
 

 

Renewal Term/Renewal Grace Period
 

Renewal term(duration) refers to the minimum and maximum number of years domain names can be renewed, and domain names cannot be exceeded the maximum number of years including the period already used.
 

Renewal Grace Period refers to a period that the domain name can be renewed even after the expiry date, and renewal fee will be charged.
 

The domain names that have no Renewal Grace Period will be deleted after the expiry, and it’s not restorable.
