NOTE!

•To use Hangeul domain names (한국, .KR, .CO.KR, .OR.KR, .PE.KR) with Internet Explorer 6.0 or lower version, you need to install separate plug-in.

•The total number of letters combined of ‘(Domain) / . / (TLD)’ cannot exceed 80 letters.

•Domain registration fees are varied by TLD. Please refer to [Domain Pricing for TLDs].

 
 

Register Domain Name
 

1)Sign in to HydraDNS account.
 

2)Click [Domain] > [Registration] on the main menu.
 

3)Enter a domain name you’d like to register, and then click [Search] button. Please click box shaped icon next to the domain entering field if you want to search multiple domain names.
 

> Use Multi Search

- Domain name entering format is same as general search.
- Domain names are separated by "comma(,)" and “Enter key”.
- Domain names can be entered up to 30.
- Search is progressed by Control (Ctrl) + Enter key.

 

4)If the search result of the domain name you want to register is ‘Available’, click [Add] button.
 

5)Click [Go to Shopping Cart] button when the selected domain names are added into Wish List.
 

6)Select product(s) you want to purchase, and click [Purchase Selected Items] button in Shopping Cart page.
※ Please click [Purchase All Items] button if you want to purchase all products in the shopping cart.
 

7)Check the payment information, select payment method, agree to the terms and conditions, and then complete the payment.
※ HydraDNS is providing Internet Explorer as a payment browser. Please complete the payment with using Internet Explorer for smooth payment process.

NOTE!

Privacy Protection’ service is automatically selected as a mandatory service with the domain name registration. Privacy Protection blocks risks that published information has exploited, such as spam mail prevention, domain fraud protection, etc., and it is an information protection service that replaces registrant information to HydraDNS information for the convenience on service use and operation. When searching domain name through Whois Lookup, HydraDNS information will be showed up instead of the real registrant information.

 

 
Notes for Domain Registration
 

•To register a domain name, you need to check if the domain name is available to register. The un-registrable domain name’s information can be checked by clicking [Whois] button.
 

•Once you register a domain name, it may take up to 7 days to complete the registration. Domain registration process can be failed even after the payment completed when the registration information doesn’t meet the requirements from ICANN or Registry. In this case, the paid amount will be automatically refunded into HydraDNS account.
 

•Payment Method
- Virtual bank account / PayPal / Coins : Refund in coins
- Credit card : Cancel credit card approval. Refund via bank transfer if approval cancellation is unavailable
 

> The request for domain registration can be limited:

- if the required fields or attachments for domain name registration is omitted;
- if registering a domain name that other person already has registered;
- if the domain name is on pending registration status;
- if you don’t meet the registration requirements for the TLD;
- if the registrant doesn’t have an address in the country for the ccTLD registration;
- if the domain name is published in advance for the domain name’s stable management and public good.

 

•HydraDNS provides Basic services for free when registering domain name. If you don’t want to use HydraDNS Basic service, you can select ‘Don’t Use’ for HydraDNS section and then directly enter Name Servers or change it to other DNS service with extra charge in shopping cart page.
 

•If you want to check if your domain name is successfully registered or not, please refer to the following.
 

- Sign in to HydraDNS account → access [Dashboard>Billing>Order History] page → click receipt [View] button → check [Registration status] on the receipt.
 

- If your domain name is successfully registered, the status also can be checked in [Dashboard>My Service] page.
